Dear Friends of Epicurean Exchange Culinary Education:
After 25+ amazing years, I have decided to take a break from teaching (my first, true passion), and focus on my travel company, Epicurean Exchange Culinary Travel. Life evolves and priorities change. I’ve realized I need concentrated time and focus, to build my travel company and share our unique experiences with the world!
With that, as of August 31, 2023 I have closed the doors of my Orinda kitchen, and will be heading to Europe to begin our series of fall tours in Burgundy, Provence/Côte d’Azur, France and Tuscany, Italy. From there, I’m taking advantage of opportunities to stay in Europe for a period of time to study, learn, immerse myself in language and culture, and build my travel business. This is something I’ve wanted to do for a very long time.
Thank you to the countless, amazing friends and acquaintances I’ve been fortunate to have made over the years. It has been an honor and a privilege to teach and learn from all of you. Apart from our scheduled cooking classes, I have met thousands of folks during our corporate and family gatherings. And, over the last 25 years, we have helped raise over $250,000 for local charities through our “Giving Back” program – efforts that have kept me humble and grateful. We have impacted thousands of young people, inspiring them to find themselves through education and the culinary arts. I’ve been truly blessed to have been part of it all!
