I’m Chef Charlie from San Francisco. I am a graduate of the California Culinary Academy, trained at Chez Panisse, and have been teaching cooking for over 25 years. I owned and operated my own school in the East Bay city of Orinda.
I have recently relocated to San Miguel de Allende and am planning to settle here. I am interested in sharing my love for food, wine, and cooking with you, the nice folks of this incredible city – and our many visitors!
My goal is to share my knowledge and skills I have learned at culinary school, and during my travels leading food tours to France, Italy, Portugal, and Spain. I am classically French-trained, but have also learned from talented chefs in Italy and Spain. I will be showcasing the best of my class repertoire that I have developed over the last 2 decades.
Our first series of hands-on classes will each last approximately 3 hours; they will include instruction, tools and materials, a full meal, beverages, and recipes emailed to guests after each class. You are asked to bring your own favorite apron.
